Complete the form
I will send you a message (email or phone) and we can discuss what picture/s you send for me to paint as well as the details of the painting
You confirm the order with a 30% deposit
I begin the painting and send to consistent updates on the artwork in progress- Takes about a week
Final photos sent to you for you to approve the painting
Confirm address (house or PO office) and you pay the rest of the amount where your order will then be shipped out promptly
You receive your painting (the best part!)
What goes into a painting?
By sketching the essence, applying layers of color, and adding intricate details, the subject comes to life.
Sketch- I find a reference photo and sketch it out onto a canvas
Wash- I apply a thin layer of paint to provide a basic idea of what the painting looks like
First layer- I paint on blocks of colour to prepare for details (this is when the painting looks the worst）
Second layer- More precise brushstrokes go on, and I work on the face of your pet in detail
Background- I paint the background colour or scene
Final details- I add the whiskers, highlights and details of fur or feathers onto the painting
Gloss varnish- To protect the painting and make the colour pop, I apply a layer of varnish after the painting is dry
